No Price too High!

Proverbs tells us that a wife of noble character is worth far more than rubies. Focus on the Family’s recent Pastor briefing says today’s mom deserves a raise:

Stay-at-Home Moms May Deserve a Raise

The annual Mom salary for 2007 has seen a three percent increase over 2006. This year, stay-at-home moms provide a savings — or earn — $138,095. Salary.com, a service that tallies average salaries by occupation, surveyed 40,000 mothers to determine the time they spend performing 10 typical job functions, such as day-care teacher, cook, housekeeper and taxi driver. The average pay for those jobs, if someone else were hired for them, equaled $138,095 when you include overtime pay, according to fortwayne.com.

The Pastor’s Weekly Briefing is one of many excellent e-bulletins that provide helpful news and articles. The most recent edition of the Pastor’s Weekly Briefing also had an article about New York State’s recent decision to allow churches to use public buildings.
